About
In the first grade Helena was in an abridged production of Hamlet. After the show, she ran home and began reading a complete works of Shakespeare (not understanding any of it). She fell in love. She has been in love ever since.
Helena left her home in Kentucky to study at Northwestern University, where she completed triple majors in Theatre, Anthropology, and Global Health Studies—three disciplines that highlight Helena’s passion for storytelling and profound fascination with and love for humans. She recently studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA), where she gained invaluable training in Shakespeare, Movement, Stage Combat, and more. Helena is a versatile performer with a strong dance background.
Helena is additionally interested in international humanitarian aid and development work. She is currently a Research Assistant with the Mapping Nuclear Legacies group, where she researches the legacies of and local responses to nuclear weapons. In the summer of 2024, she was a sustainable development intern at a hospital in Jinja, Uganda. While there, she created educational videos for the maternal and child health clinic in both English and Luganda. Helena strives to make meaningful connections—through art and global health work.
